Travel photographs include the Newfoundland field cast of a Blue Whale that matches archive images of the example crafted by the Smithsonian and sent to the 1904 Worlds Fair Expo (St. Louis - 5 images), North American Trading Post in Yukon Territory and a series visiting William Cornelius Van Horne (Railroad Magnate and J.P. Morgan rival) ranch in Calgary / Alberta. Others hint at further Alaskan / Canadian and possibly Siberian into Asia travel.
Many unidentified, though the few images that are loose have been type captioned on the reverse. Likely includes members of Hornaday and Grinnell’s circles, early Smithsonian, the Wildlife Conservation Society and Boone / Crocket Club working with Teddy Roosevelt’s very public preservation campaigns of the time (including the Buffalo & Bison repopulation program in NYC).
